According to a report from WLNS.com, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is warning state residents about an increase in "robocall" phone scams.

Reportedly, there has been an uptick in robocalls demanding money and threatening arrest. But, as most would consider obvious, the state or federal government does not call people delinquent on payments and threaten arrest.

Not everybody takes the obvious road, and that is why Schuette is telling residents to hang up on phone calls demanding cash-to-cash transfers, PIN numbers, or banking information.

There is a full list of warning signs and suggestions in the full WLNS report, and contact information to report scams. Visit this link to the story for more.
