Moms certainly don't want to be responsible for cooking and cleaning on Mother's Day, take mom to brunch at one of these Lansing area restaurants.

It's not mom's job to do the cooking and cleaning. We work together at our house and split those duties in our household along with a multitude of other chores like laundry, cleaning and yard work.

Remember, mom changed your diapers, cleaned up your puke and cleaned your face.

Thoughtful gifts are always a good gift idea. What has mom talked about in her life that you took note of? There's gotta be something extra special that she's mentioned. Show your a good kid and get her that gift. Mom obviously hasn't purchased it for herself yet. It also tells mom that you pay attention to her.

Moms like experiences. Moms like sports. Take mom to see the Detroit Tigers and Miggy in his final season at Comerica Park.
