They've gotta take the fun out of everything, don't they?

Netflix's chief product officer spoke at their Q3 2019 earnings interview last week, saying that the company hopes to address the password sharing epidemic without "alienating" too much of their audience.

They're going to start using an artificial intelligence system to figure out who is sharing usernames and passwords. The creator of the system says that "casual credentials sharing is becoming too expensive to ignore."

Part of the idea is to have users pay for a shared or premium service if they want to continue to let somebody else use their account.
