If you don't have an automatic car starter and you don't want to get into a freezing car in the morning. What in the hell are you supposed to do? Well, I wouldn't suggest warming up your car with the keys still in the ignition that's for sure.

According to WNEM, the Owosso police department said it has investigated three stolen car cases between Tuesday and Wednesday, two of which were left running with the keys inside the vehicle.

If you don't have an automatic car starter then your best bet is to warm up your car by using a spare set of keys and then locking it up. There is still the possibility of someone stealing your car but it's less likely I would imagine. If you don't have a spare key...get one. I suppose you could sit in your car while it warms up but who in the heck wants to do that, not me.

If your car doesn't come equipped with an automatic car starter, it's totally worth spending the money to get one especially since we live in the freezing state of Michigan.

It used to be illegal in the state to leave your car running unattended even in your own driveway.

Back in 2017, Gov. Rick Snyder signed a bill into law that would allow drivers to leave their vehicles running unattended on private property.

The point of this, don't leave your keys in your freaking car while it's running or there's a good chance it'll get stolen.
