Tonight, it's another rock and roll birthday to celebrate! John Fogerty turns 69 today! Fogerty has had a colorful and illustrious career that dates back to 1959. Turmoil among the members of Creedence Clearwater Revival led to that band's demise in 1972. There were solo attempts and ideas to resurrect the CCR brand that led to lengthy court battles within the band and its label. That;'s all yesterday's news now, though. Fogerty is back out on a full fledged tour, supporting Jimmy Buffett this year. (July 26, 2014 at Comerica Park)

Tonight, three from John Fogerty for your Six O'Clock Triple Shot. CCR with "Green River", a live version of "Born On The Bayou" done by John and his solo band, and from his Centerfield LP, "Old Man Down The Road". Only on 94.9 WMMQ!
