The Who have announced plans to record a new album this summer. Apparently, Pete Townshend has at least three new songs ready to go, all given the stamp of approval from Roger Daltrey. The band also made mention that their nine date U.K. tour later this year "will have a finality to it." The band is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.

Tonight, we welcome the news of new material from The Who, with three of their classics compiled over the last half century. Tune in tonight for a live version of "Magic Bus" recorded in 1970, "My Wife" from Who's Next, and "Long Live Rock". It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
