Stores Open on Thanksgiving and Black Friday
It's always good to know what stores are open when and where, especially on Thanksgiving and on Black Friday. (Lansing State Journal)
Let's face it, the holiday season is here and that means it's time to figure out what gifts to purchase and for which loved ones on your Christmas list.
Before we get started with what stores are open on Black Friday, let's begin with what's open on Thanksgiving day:
We can always count on Meijer. Meijer stores will be open beginning at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving. So just in case you forgot to buy something for your Thanksgiving feast, you should be able to find it at Meijer.
Dollar General will open their doors at 7 a.m.
Family Dollar will open beginning at 8 a.m.
I'm not sure if you can find any fixings for your Thanksgiving dinner at any dollar store, but you should be able to find some fairly cute stocking stuffers for the holidays.
Now are you ready for what's open on Black Friday?
The following stores will be open beginning at 5 a.m.
Walmart
Dick's Sporting Goods
Kohl's
Best Buy
Home Depot (6 a.m.)
Meijer (6 a.m.)
I can honestly tell you that there's no way I would get up that early to do any shopping of any kind. Even though I really like all of the above stores, I think the perfect time for me to start shopping is around 10 a.m. I'm sure the early birds will appreciate the 5 a.m. early bird start time.
For all of you Target fans, they will open at 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
The Lansing Mall and the Meridian Mall will both be closed on Thanksgiving. Both malls will be open on Friday from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. (LSJ)
