Thank You Lansing, My First Week At WMMQ Has Been Incredible

Today wraps up my first week here at WMMQ, and I could not be happier about what is to come!

Not only has everyone here at the station been so welcoming and willing to help me get used to everything around here, but I also know this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship hosting alongside Joey Pants.

This is my first job as a co-host, and I am so thankful to Joey for being so patient and showing me the ropes.

All the free food here is not a bad deal either, and my first "free food Friday" definitely did not disappoint!

Not only am I full of ideas for future on-air and web content for all of you, but I have been inspired more and more every day so far and I'm not planning on slowing down any time soon.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the warm welcome and all of the support, and just know that my main goal in this new adventure is to make sure you all continue to be proud listeners and friends of WMMQ.

Now I do need a simple favor; as I settle into my new norma,l I have more free time ever since leaving my second job in retail and need to get out and explore all the fun things Lansing has to offer!

I am open to any and all suggestions, but especially any that involve tacos, sushi, coffee, beer/breweries, night life, brunch, art and pretty much just anything that you all have a blast doing around here.
