There’s an Emu on the Loose in Ionia

An emu jumped the fence escaped Emu Endeavor in Ionia Saturday and is on the loose somewhere in the county.

Emus can't fly, but they can put up a wicked fight - they  have long nails that can rip you open. They say that they can't control or corral the bird, so they'll have to shoot the emu. Can't they net it or shoot it with a tranquilizer gun?!
