I LOVED this story from bridge.com. It talks about all the resources available to people from Michigan in this time of fear and uncertainty.

If you have a hungry kid and are worried about feeding them, they have a couple of options including 211. Not only can you call 211 from any phone to get some help, you can check out their website.

There is a disaster distress hotline. Call 1-800-985-5990. It's a year round service from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and provides crisis counseling for people going through both natural and human-caused disasters. It’s free, multi-lingual and confidential. You can also text TalkWithUs to 66746.
