We get it, southern Arizona, you have heat and deserts and snow and winter weather is a complete rarity. So perhaps it shouldn't come as a surprise that the front page of Saturday's (2/23) Arizona Daily Star from Tuscon shouted out the headline, "We Might As Well be Michigan."

Of course this is southern Arizona - northern Arizona in the high country around Flagstaff regularly gets walloped with snow, so the state is not immune to a winter punch.

So just how rare is Tuscon snow? The city's cops had some fun with the rare winter event bringing out their crime lab to investigate a "white powdery substance."

Of course a few Michiganders caught wind of the Tuscon headline with the best reply coming from Northern Michigan University's School of Education, Leadership and Public Service.

Dear Arizona, welcome to the team.

Word.
