Michiganders know we have a real treasure right here at home. The Great Lakes, all of the lakes and streams within Michigan, trails, campgrounds and parks galore.

So we look forward to the warmer seasons when the farmers stock their markets with the fruits of their crops. The time is here to seek out your local farmers market, they are stocked and ready to sell.

A perfect time to plan a drive, sort of a self guided tour the whole family can participate in to see the stunning orchards, fields and farms with all of the cherry blossoms fully on display.

Some of their regular events will continue, such as The Great American Duck Race, and there will still be kids events at F&M Park. The Michigan National Cherry Festival normally draws thousands of fans, it was originally created to promote and celebrate cherries and along with local community involvement .

Michigan’s cannabis industry has seen major growth in the past two years with many new facilities in the state of Michigan growing and producing unique products.
