Well, what do you know...

Michigan's favorite native rocker has taken his catalog to a whole different level of consumption than what made him so popular decades ago.

The Detroit Free Press says that Bob Seger has branched out to another generation of listeners by launching his own official YouTube channel. Seger and Capitol Records debuted the channel Friday. Fans can now use the convenience of the digital platform to view Seger's videos from his extensive catalog. (Audiophiles, beware...)

Each week, there will be new and updated content to view. Old videos will be converted to HD, rare clips of Seger through the years will be available, previously unreleased material, and more will be among the updated content.

It should be noted that Seger was one of the last classic rock artists to make his material available to audio streaming platforms, about three years ago. And, now, he finally has jumped on board the video train. Which, is probably a great idea, considering album sales and chart positions are now taking these digital platforms into consideration.
