I suffer from depression. One of the ways that makes me feel better is helping others. In February, I posted this to my Facebook.

Leslie Clark Baldwin suggested the Michigan Pit Bull Education Project. I had never heard of this before.
So, I looked em up on the interweb. This is how they describe what they do.

Michigan Pit Bull Education Project is non-profit 501 (c) 3 rescue officially formed March 2013. Although our rescue efforts date back to 2005. We are dedicated to helping families keep their family members by educating landlords, apartments, and insurance companies. We support and promote spay and neutering programs, educating the youth about dog-fighting, fight breed specific legislation, help lower the amount of pit bulls that enter the shelters by helping families locate homes that allow pit bulls, help communities end the practice of 24/7 chaining.
