Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced on Friday during a press conference that all hair salons and barbershops will be allowed to open up throughout the entire state beginning on June 15th.

In northern Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, the return date will be June 10th.  All hair shops have been closed since March statewide because of the coronavirus pandemic.


Whitmer repealed the stay at home order this past Monday, the current state of emergency runs through June 19th.
