Laingsburg’s Best Kept Secret: Tammy’s Bakery and Cafe

Last week, I posted this on Facebook.

No one got more love than this lady. Tammy Bentley Hart posted this:

"I own a Bakery/Cafe in laingsburg. I had one in Perry for 10 years and now I've been in laingsburg for 3 years. Laingsburg is my only one now. That would be nice to be known more towards Lansing area. Thank you for caring .❤️ I listen to you in the mornings while I'm baking."

She had 20 responses from people. Most of them telling me how awesome the place was, so I had to go on Monday.

From the second I walked in, I felt the love. Tammy greeted me as soon as I walked in. She ia ball of warm energy and the place feels like home. She had a group of people waiting for me.

Tammy is way proud of her place and has been through hell. Recently, she had a botched knee operation.

Have you ever seen anything like that? Anyway, she didn't let that stop her.

She is known for her cinnamon rolls but the place also does breakfast and lunch. It's downtown Laingsburg on Grand River.
