Lansing Has a New Mayor and East Lansing Said “No” to Tax

Andy Schor is the new mayor of Lansing by a landslide, winning 72 to 28 percent over Judi Brown Clarke, with less than 5,000 people deciding the leadership of our fair city.

The Ingham County tax separation passed by a narrow margin.

53 percent of voters said NO to the East Lansing City Income tax proposal (less than 5,000 people bothered to vote from EL, too).

The Mason School Bond passed.

Derek Dobies is the new Jackson mayor.

And Eaton County voted yes on the 911 surcharge.
