Major Shortage of Foster Care Parents in Michigan

It sounds like they will be needing all they can get because there is a MAJOR shortage of Foster Parents here in Michigan. There are 13,500 kids waiting for homes and only around 6000 homes are ready for them. Read that sobering story by clicking here.

It's something that runs through my mind all the time. Who will my Nugget have after I am gone? She is just so young and in the terrible 2 stage, we couldn't even consider it right now... but down the road a bit, it will likely be an option for us.
