Pot Advocates Sue Lansing City Clerk Over Petition Denial
WLNS.com reports that a medical marijuana advocacy group feels that Lansing City Clerk Chris Swope improperly disqualified signatures on a petition to stop Lansing's new medical marijuana ordinance.
The group makes its contention after making a Freedom Of Information Act request after the petition was rejected last week.
According to the WLNS report, the Lansing City Attorney office will represent Swope. For details, visit this link to WLNS.com.
