A recent post on Facebook said "Mother Nature is throwing out temperatures like Powerball numbers" and it couldn't be more true.

Summer officially kicked off this past weekend and even though the temperatures were warm that doesn't mean the Great Lakes water is warm yet.

Yes, you are reading that right. It was 37 degrees colder in our state than it was in the continent that covers the bottom of our planet.
