A recent post on Facebook said "Mother Nature is throwing out temperatures like Powerball numbers" and I couldn't agree more.

I get that we live here in Michigan and the weather can be hard to keep up with but lately, this has just been crazy!

Don't get me wrong, it's been beautiful, but not what you expect in November.

My friends on the west side of the state were taking their dogs to the beach on Lake Michigan, I spent the day outside chasing my nephew around, we all were driving around with the windows down, it was a beautiful few days and a wonderful breath of fresh air...IF I COULD BREATHE THROUGH MY NOSE!

This whole 75 degrees one day and 45 the next is driving my sinuses and allergies nuts and I know I am not the only one.

Now, too, that we are in the middle of a spike in COVID cases, all of us allergy sufferers are back at stifling sneezes and not trying to get caught clearing our throats out of fear for dirty looks.

Myself and many other people put up our Christmas decorations and I get it, we're a bit early so we don't have too much room to complain but the holidays are starting soon and how are we all supposed to start getting ready to get in the holiday spirit when it feels like summer!?

I'm someone who loves winter, which I know is an unpopular opinion, so while I am sad a lot of you will be happy to know that MLive is projecting that "The overall pattern expected says no LONG-LASTING, extremely harsh winter weather is on the way through early December."

Winter-haters, rejoice! Just know we winter lovers are still doing little snow dances in the hopes for a "White Christmas"!

If you suspect we will have a "bad" winter, here are some signs to look out for:
