This was a fun show to do, and the audience was ready with their favorite Thin Lizzy songs. Gary Moore has always been a staple on this show as Larry was a big fan, which prompted many in the audience to be fans as well.

Thin Lizzy toured with Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band in the mid '70s when Seger was recording his tour for the Live Bullet album. I was surprised to find Thin Lizzy covered Bob Seger’s Rosalie. It was an earlier song in Bob’s career, about Rosalie Trombley who was the music director at the Big 8 CKLW in Windsor Ontario. In the '70s and '80s she had a firm grasp and a lot of influence on what records got played. Punch Andrews Bob’s manager worked hard, but Rosalie would not give in and play Bob Seger. Finally he got popular enough and got airplay on CKLW. But not before Bob wrote a song about her out of frustration.
