East Lansing Police posted here on their Facebook page that on Monday this week, around 5:20 PM, a man was walking home near Saginaw and Hagadorn when he was stopped by a guy he thought was a police officer. The 6'1" white guy with short brown hair and green eyes, wearing a royal blue police-style uniform with a gold shield, carrying a holstered gun, started asking the pedestrian why he was in the area. Then the faux cop noticed that someone nearby was taking video of the interaction, so he took off in his white Ford Taurus that had "Lansing" and "Police" written on it.

ELPD is currently investigating. If you have any info regarding this incident, or see the suspect rolling around Greater Lansing, please call (517) 319-6884 or 911.
