Lenny Kravitz Announces U.S. Tour
Lenny Kravitz announced an eight-date tour of the U.S. to tie in with the release of his album Raise Vibration.
The road trip starts on Sept. 21 and ends on Oct. 8. Tickets go on sale Friday, and include a free CD copy of the album with a vinyl upgrade option.
You can see the full list of dates below.
Kravitz previously admitted he suffered writer’s block before finally being able to create material for the follow-up to 2014’s Strut. “I really wasn’t sure where I was going musically,” he told Rolling Stone. “After doing this for 30 years, I wasn’t feeling it. I’d never felt that confused about what to do. And it was kind of a scary place. You don’t know when it’s going to come.”
He made a point of not going near his home studio until one late night, at 4AM, he woke up with a song idea and went to record it. The same thing happened over subsequent nights. “I realized, ‘This is it,’” he recalled. “This is what I’d been waiting for. And once I started that process, the floodgates opened and it all started coming out me. I dreamt the whole record.”
