Major Recall Affects 1.3 Million Subaru Vehicles
WLNS.com reports that Subaru is recalling 1.3 million of its vehicles in the United States over a brake light issue.
According to the report, 2014 through 2016 Forester models, 2008 through 2016 Impreza models, and 2013 through 2017 Crosstrek vehicles may have an issue that leads to brake lights not illuminating properly.
The company says that a cleaning product may produce gas that can affect the electrical contact of the brake lights.
Brakes will still function, but, the driver behind you may not know that you have applied them. There have been 33 reports of the malfunction. No information about accidents and injuries attributed to the possible malfunction were reported.
