Classic Covers: “I Love Rock and Roll”

I think you could win a bet with a young PUNK on this one. Joan Jet did NOT do the original version of "I Love Rock and Roll." She did a lot of covers Crimson and Clover, Love Stinks and yes, I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL was originally an Arrows tune from 1975.

It got covered by Joan Jet and the Blackhearts in 1981. It was huge. I think it is far and away, better than the original... MORE POWER! Plus, a grown man creeping on a 17 year-old girl playing a song on a jukebox... That would be frowned upon nowadays.

Then, less successfully with a fading pop star.

Then, even Hannah Montana tried it. I think I actually like Brittney's version better than the piece of crap below... Why even try?
