One of the most upsetting losses of COVID for us has been the Costco half sheet cake. At the end of June, the company said they were going to stop making them because they wanted people to stop getting together and adhere to social distancing.

It was like losing a family member to us. My wife and I looked for reasons to go get a Costco cake. My sister got us hooked years ago and it replaced Ice cream cake as our family staple. Every birthday party or celebration, get together, had a Costco cake. It has this layer of pudding in the middle I call the moist maker.

"To help limit personal contact and create more space for social distancing, Costco has reduced service in some departments."

No doubt the Costco half sheet cake was a classic and a crowd favorite. Although the company has no plans to bring it back, I have a feeling you'll be seeing them again next year. It would be like Lynyrd Skynyrd going on tour and NOT playing Free bird. Keep your hits in the rotation, man.
