Mosey-ing With Maitlynn: Coffee Stop #3 – For Crêpe Sake
Maybe it is the fact my family is part French or maybe it is just simply I love anything remotely related to pancakes but I absolutely love crepes which is why I was so excited to add For Crêpe Sake to my Lansing coffee destinations this week thanks to a suggestion from listener, Kayleigh!
While not specifically a place to get coffee, For Crêpe Sake has a pretty extensive menu of coffee selections, from lattes to French Press to satisfy anyone's caffeine cravings which is why they were part of this week's adventures!
Serving Zingerman's Coffee, For Crêpe Sake also has one of the widest varieties I have ever seen of flavor syrups!
Right when you walk in the decor featuring burlap on the tables and brick walls is warm, cozy and inviting and the smell alone was enough to make me say "Holy crepe!"
If you are an indecisive crêpe connoisseur like myself, you have a hard time deciding between your sweet and savory options but they solved that with their crêpe combos! Just pick one crêpe from the savory side and one from the sweet side and boom, everyone wins!
I got myself a cheesy potato crêpe and a cinnamon sugar one and boy were they good! As part of the combo too I picked a coffee from their menu and while I normally don't do black coffee, I did this time and it was fantastic!
All in all, it was a great place to try some delicious coffee and an even better place to go catch up with a friend from college over some crêpes! I know I will be seeing that cheesy potato crêpe in my dreams until I go back again!
