First Day of Pants-School For Nugget

Everyone is sharing pictures of their kids on the first day of school. I'll be damned if I let the moment go by because of COVID. I know, I am so sick of it too but that is why we are keeping her home this year. She had a hell of a time last year with RSV, Influenza A. It seemed like every week she was in a new battle. Is keeping her home a bad idea? I have had doctors tell me no. This is different.

I was doing the show this morning in her toy room, she walked in gave me a big smile and waved. I thought she was in a great place for her first day of home schooling. My wife made up a schedule and we try to keep to it.

She is really doing a great job of counting and her alphabet. So far ahead of last year yet still so far behind the typical kids. We are very proud of her ambition and determination. It will serve her well in the future.

Nugget missed her preschool friends so much, she got out her yearbook one day and started pointing at her friends. We didn't even think she knew they existed. She is in her own little world... Like daddy.
